Leasing Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while maintaining strong relationships with current residents. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a knack for sales, and the ability to effectively manage property-related tasks.

Duties

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals through data entry and filing systems.
• Utilize internal software for tracking leasing activities and managing tenant information.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the property management team to implement marketing strategies that attract potential renters.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants to secure agreements that benefit both parties.
• Maintain a professional phone etiquette while handling incoming calls from prospects and current residents.
• Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing office correspondence.

Experience

• Previous experience in property management or as a leasing agent is preferred.
• Strong background in sales or customer service roles, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
