Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing inquiries, guiding prospective tenants through the rental process, and maintaining positive relationships with current residents. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and experience in property management or sales to contribute to a dynamic team environment. The Leasing Agent will play a key role in ensuring a smooth leasing experience while promoting the property's reputation and occupancy goals.

Duties

• Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about available units and community amenities
• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and answering questions to facilitate leasing decisions
• Manage leasing documentation, including application processing, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out procedures
• Utilize property management software to update tenant records, process applications, and generate reports
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of all leasing activities
• Coordinate with maintenance and office staff to ensure property readiness for new tenants
• Follow up with prospects to convert inquiries into lease agreements and maintain ongoing customer relationships
• Assist with marketing efforts by promoting available units through various channels and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations

Skills

• Proficiency in property management software is highly desirable
• Strong office experience with excellent administrative skills including data entry and filing
• Previous experience in sales or customer service roles, especially within property management or real estate
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with prospective tenants and current residents
• Negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements effectively while meeting company standards
• Customer relationship management expertise to foster positive interactions and long-term tenant retention
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional demeanor with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Although bilingualism is not require, speaking a second language is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
