We're looking for a Payroll Associate to deliver accurate, timely payroll services while building trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.

You'll work collaboratively with experienced colleagues, develop your technical expertise, and stay at the forefront of payroll legislation in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients using Europay.
  • Deliver accurate payrolls to agreed deadlines, including pensions and statutory payments.
  • Create payroll bank files and ensure Revenue and auto-enrolment compliance.
  • Respond professionally to payroll queries from clients and stakeholders.
  • Peer review payrolls to maintain exceptional accuracy.
  • Work closely with payroll colleagues and wider Azets teams.
  • Keep up to date with payroll legislation through training and self-development.
  • Support ad hoc payroll administration as required.

Skills & Experience

  • IPASS qualified.
  • 1-2 years' payroll experience, ideally within a bureau or service-led environment.
  • End-to-end payroll processing experience, including pensions and statutory payments.
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation, Revenue requirements and auto-enrolment.
  • Europay experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manually calculate payroll when required.
