Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team for an upscale Condominium building. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to security, strong conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting investigations as necessary.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations until professional help arrives.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years (within the past 5 years) of proven experience in security roles or related fields such as law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with operating CCTV systems and other security technologies.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
