Finance Administrator

What you’ll do:

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to play a key role on a busy finance team. The role will involve performing a variety of admin and income processing tasks relating to the activities of the finance department. The successful candidate will have the ability to quickly gain knowledge of all aspects of the role. The ability to input information accurately in a high-volume data processing environment is essential for this role.

This role will suit a proactive, diligent, and process-oriented individual, with strong communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, who is looking for a challenge in one of Ireland's leading charities.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:

The Finance Department provides a range of financial services in support of the Society's primary mission. It is led by the Director of Finance and Corporate Services and the Head of Finance, and is supported by the Finance Manager, Financial Accountant, Payroll Officer, Accounts Assistant, Gift (Income) Processing Coordinator, and Finance Administrator.

The successful candidate will carry out the following duties:

Income Processing:

Ensure daily income processing activities are carried out in a timely manner.

Complete daily post summary sheet.

Scan income back-up and cheques.

Create daily income batches on the CRM system.

Resolve any queries with the Fundraising team promptly.

Process bank deposits and resolve any queries.

Arrange cash security collections.

Be responsible for cash-related aspects relating to fundraising campaigns.

Assist with month-end procedures.

Provide cover for Gift (Income) Processing Coordinator.

Pay: €27,000.00-€44,676.19 per year
