Leasing Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing property leasing processes, ensuring tenant receivables are collected and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with residents and facilitating smooth operations within our property management team.

Duties

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
• Utilize property management software such as Appfolio for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
• Handle tenant delinqencies and resolve conflicts effectively through strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly communicated.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address tenant concerns regarding property maintenance.
• Maintain organized records of tenant interactions, applications, and leasing documents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in office tasks including data entry, filing, and administrative support functions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks

Pay: From $36,500.00 per year
